Transcripts

Whether you are graduating and need to send your grades to a graduate school, applying for a scholarship, or starting a job, your transcripts are the official record of your grades at SJSU. The process takes some time, so be sure to turn in your request in advance.

How to request an official transcript

The request for an official SJSU transcript must be submitted by mail, fax, or in person at the Student Services Center counter. Phone or email requests cannot be accepted. Form is available at www.sjsu.edu/registrar/services/transcripts/ or if writing a letter, include the following information:

Costs

No charge for official transcripts. However, written signed requests are required for processing.

Fax the request to 408-924-2077 (Attn. Registrar's Office) or send the signed request to:

The transcript(s) will be sent within five to ten working days after receipt of the request. End of term requests may take longer, contingent on grade or degree posting.
